“Surviving manufacturers of cutting rules in Japan”
We are proud of our sophisticated skills that make sure our cutting rules are precise in their specifications. For example, we can work with as small an allowance of even ±20μm for width.
The thickness of cutting rules varies depending on its intended use. The most used thickness is 0.7 mm. However, thicker cutting rules are used to die-cut thicker materials such as gaskets and packings for automobiles and double wall corrugated board.
The harder the cutting rule the more durable it is. However, harder cutting rules make it more difficult to process. For example, they can crack or break while bending. Nakayama’s technology offers a solution and enables cutting rules that are hard, durable and easy to process.
A cutting rule works 3,000,000 sheets of die cutting in the case of a large lot.
The sustainable sharpness and durability of Nakayama cutting rules always receive high customer evaluations.
